In May 2025, the tenth, anniversary edition of the Energy and Climate Diplomacy collection was published. Over the years, the collection has established itself as a platform for analytical depth, diplomatic insight and expert assessment of key issues related to the European Union’s energy and climate policies. The present edition reflects the challenges facing the Union as it seeks to reconcile sustainable industrial transformation with the implementation of ambitious decarbonisation targets against a backdrop of continuing geopolitical uncertainty, emerging global dependencies and an accelerating technological race.

The topics covered in the collection encompass a broad range of issues, including energy security and market integration; strategic partnerships and diversification of energy sources; the role of data and transparency; the competitiveness of the European economy; and Europe’s place in the global energy transition.
