The trainee attachés at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from the 20th “Dimitar Stanchov” cohort of the Bulgarian Diplomatic Institute met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Velislava Petrova-Chamova.

The meeting provided an opportunity for an open discussion on the challenges facing contemporary diplomacy, with a particular focus on Bulgaria’s role in the Middle Corridor, transatlantic relations and the role of artificial intelligence.

Minister Petrova highlighted initiative, self-reflection and the ability to adapt quickly to a dynamic working environment as key qualities for the professional development of future diplomats.

The meeting reaffirmed the importance of dialogue between the Ministry’s leadership and the new generation of diplomats as an integral part of their professional training.
