Joint Master’s Programme with Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, dedicated to European integration and European Union diplomacy
The Bulgarian Diplomatic Institute is a partner of the Department of European Studies at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” in delivering the annual joint Master’s Programme “European Integration and EU Diplomacy.” The programme provides specialised training in European integration and diplomacy, combining in-depth academic expertise with specialised foreign-language training and practical skills in various areas related to the functioning of the European Union.
The main objective of the programme is to enhance participants’ knowledge and competitiveness, supporting their professional development and career advancement in European and national institutions, businesses, non-governmental organisations and sectoral organisations dealing with or having an interest in European affairs.
The programme brings together lecturers with practical experience in diplomacy, European affairs and their links to the business sector. It provides training in negotiation skills, diplomatic protocol and ceremonial, the preparation of foreign-policy analyses and research, the planning and organisation of public events, and other relevant skills.
