The Director of the Bulgarian Diplomatic Institute, Ms. Tanya Mihaylova, had the pleasure of holding a working meeting with H.E. Ms. Marie Dumoulin, Ambassador of the French Republic to Bulgaria.

Ambassador Dumoulin expressed interest in learning more about the activities of the Bulgarian Diplomatic Institute, of which she had received excellent feedback from the Diplomatic and Consular Academy of the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs. She was also briefed on the recent participation of the Director of the Bulgarian Diplomatic Institute in the “La Fabrique de la Diplomatie” forum in Paris, as well as on the meetings held there with representatives of French institutions active in the field of diplomatic training.

During the meeting, the Director of the Bulgarian Diplomatic Institute presented the Institute’s main areas of activity, as well as some of its initiatives and international training formats that provide opportunities for foreign diplomats and representatives of diplomatic missions in Sofia to participate.

Particular attention was paid to opportunities for future joint initiatives and projects, as well as to closer cooperation with the French Institute in Bulgaria and with French institutions in the field of diplomatic training.
