The Bulgarian Diplomatic Institute held a productive online meeting with representatives of the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain, at the Academy’s invitation.

The Director of the Bulgarian Diplomatic Institute, Ms. Tanya Mihaylova, held talks with Ms. Sheikha Aysha bint Ahmed Al Khalifa, Head of the Training Department at the Bahraini Academy. The meeting provided an opportunity to review the excellent partnership between the Bulgarian Diplomatic Institute and the Academy. In the context of the Memorandum of Cooperation signed in 2024, the participants discussed future joint initiatives between the two institutions in the areas of diplomatic training, international cooperation and public diplomacy.

The meeting was also attended by Mr. Nikolay Milovanov, a specialist at the Public Affairs and Cooperation Department of the Bulgarian Diplomatic Institute, and Ms. Amal AlQassimi, Third Secretary at the Diplomatic Academy of Bahrain, responsible for international cooperation.
