The online version of Issue No. 31 of Diplomacy Journal, published by the Bulgarian Diplomatic Institute, is now available. This issue focuses on the dynamic geopolitical transformations unfolding at both the global and regional levels.

A highlight of the issue is an interview with H.E. José Ramos-Horta, President of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste. The interview explores topics including the relationship between diplomacy and geopolitics, geostrategic challenges in the Asia-Pacific region, and reform of the UN Security Council. The issue also features analyses of the role of BRICS in contemporary international relations, China’s policy towards the Global South, Iran’s nuclear programme, and the impact of the war in Ukraine on the Black Sea region.
