The show is dedicated to energy security and energy diplomacy – two current topics of particular importance for Bulgaria, Europe and the world. In it you will hear an interview of Prof. Nursin Guney from Istanbul’s Yaldiz University. She participated in the International Conference “Energy Infrastructure and Energy Security in Southeast Europe”, organized by the Diplomatic Institute.

In the interview, Prof. Guney talks about the measures that the state has taken after the two explosions of the gas pipeline from the southern corridor and about the country’s projects for the construction of nuclear power plants. It also evaluates the benefit of a common European energy union for Bulgaria and Turkey – one of the most strategic points for Europe. The ambassador with a special order, Lachezar Matev, answers the question of how energy diplomacy helps to implement the projects in the energy sector.
