The 25th issue of the bilingual Diplomacy Journal, published by the Bulgarian Diplomatic Institute, was released in late January 2021. The issue focuses on strategic autonomy and the European Union’s Common Security and Defence Policy, Bulgaria’s and the EU’s current relations with Asia, Latin America and Africa, global issues such as multilateralism and the United Nations, as well as energy and climate security.

The issue once again features a special focus on Bulgaria’s candidacy for membership in the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). The contributors to the issue include established academics, experts from the non-governmental sector, and diplomats from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including trainee attachés from the latest training cohort of the Bulgarian Diplomatic Institute.
