In December 2014, the Bulgarian Diplomatic Institute, jointly with the “G. S. Rakovski” National Defence College, published the collection “The Future of NATO.” The publication contains the statements and presentations delivered by Bulgarian and foreign participants at the International Conference “The Future of NATO,” jointly organised by the Bulgarian Diplomatic Institute, the “G. S. Rakovski” National Defence College and the Atlantic Club of Bulgaria under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, marking the tenth anniversary of Bulgaria’s accession to NATO.

The contributions are presented in sections corresponding to the thematic panels of the conference, covering the achievements of Bulgaria’s NATO membership and the Alliance’s prospects for future development. The publication aims to make the analyses, trends and conclusions presented by prominent experts, statesmen, diplomats and academics during the conference accessible to a broader readership.
