Bulgarian Diplomatic Institute’s Director Tanya Mihaylova and journalist Georgi Milkov had the pleasure of participating in the presentation of the publication The Libyan Case: All Diplomatic Means: Testimonies and Documents on the Secret and Public Efforts of Bulgarian Diplomacy to Save the Bulgarian Medical Workers in Libya (1999–2007). The event was held for residents and visitors of the village of Lozenets as part of the Art Stream festival.
Mr Stefan Bozhkov, Artistic Director of the Art Stream festival, addressed the audience with a special greeting.
The publication’s editors, Ms Mihaylova and Mr Milkov, spoke about the creation of the book, the process of declassifying archival documents, and the key role played by Bulgarian diplomacy in successfully resolving one of the most complex foreign-policy cases in Bulgaria’s recent history.
The presentation attracted considerable interest and was followed by an engaging discussion, with numerous questions from the audience, who also had the opportunity to receive a signed copy of the book.
The publication is available in bookstores and online here: https://knigomania.bg/libijskijat-sluchaj-vsichki…
