A working meeting was held at the Bulgarian Diplomatic Institute between its Director, Ms. Tanya Mihaylova, and H.E. Zurab Khamashuridze, Ambassador of Georgia to Bulgaria.

The two discussed opportunities for cooperation between the Bulgarian Diplomatic Institute and the newly established Diplomatic Academy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia in the field of diplomatic training, as well as the participation of Georgian representatives in upcoming international training programmes organised by the Bulgarian Diplomatic Institute.

Particular emphasis was also placed on the potential for joint projects between the Bulgarian Diplomatic Institute and relevant training and research centres in Georgia in areas of mutual interest to Bulgaria and Georgia, such as energy, transport and digital connectivity in the Black Sea region.
