The Director of the Bulgarian Diplomatic Institute, Ms. Tanya Mihaylova, had the pleasure of holding a working meeting with H.E. Mr Pierre Hagmann, Ambassador of Switzerland to Bulgaria.

The two discussed the upcoming commemoration of 110 years of diplomatic relations between Bulgaria and Switzerland.

During the meeting, the Director of the Bulgarian Diplomatic Institute presented the Institute’s main areas of activity, as well as some of its initiatives and international formats that provide opportunities for foreign diplomats and representatives of diplomatic missions in Sofia to participate.

Particular attention was paid to opportunities for future joint initiatives and projects, as well as to closer cooperation in the field of science diplomacy and the participation of Bulgarian and Swiss diplomats in training courses and seminars in both countries.

The meeting was also attended by Ms. Tessa Nerini, Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of Switzerland, and Dr. Valentin Katrandzhiev, Chief Expert at the Bulgarian Diplomatic Institute.
