As part of its Foreign Policy Studies analytical series, launched in 2009, the Bulgarian Diplomatic Institute publishes analyses and expert reports focusing on current regional issues in Southeast Europe and the Black Sea region.
These include specialised publications produced as part of the Institute’s successful editions of its traditional applied research project competition, which focuses on contemporary Balkan geopolitics through analysis of the foreign policies of Bulgaria’s neighbouring countries and Bulgaria’s bilateral relations with them — Türkiye, the Republic of North Macedonia, Serbia, Romania, and Greece.
